Design 4 is the top-of-the-line National Tricone, with a base cost of $10,000 without any custom elements. This guitar, including a customized Art Deco– motivated inscription by metalsmith David Giulietti, was commissioned by Paul Mehling, founder of the prominent Hot Club of San Francisco.
Its next owner will possess a genuinely uncommon specimen, prepared to be delighted in and cherished. Included with the guitar are copies of the original etching styles and correspondence.
