Yamaha CPX15N

This amazing guitar features a strong Sitka spruce top and white transparent sunburst finish over bleached sycamore. On the bound ebony fingerboard, highly figured green abalone whale tails mark the compass positions. The bound rosewood headstock features gold devices and a compass logo in uncommon woods. A mother-of-pearl and abalone rosette shows the never-setting sun of the far north, the area that inspired this style. Magnificently inlaid at the very first fret, Acoustic Guitar’s Tenth Anniversary logo design adds the completing touch.

The CPX15N mixes an in-bridge L.R. Baggs piezo pickup with a condenser microphone mounted under the bridge plate– Yamaha’s special style– offering this guitar an intense, clear electric sound.
