In this blues guitar lesson we’ll discuss one of the common-er jazz/jump style variations.

It’s a ii-V (two-five) relocation over bars 9 and 10 of the 12 bar blues form … where instead of utilizing the V and the IV chord, we use the – you guess it, ii and V chord.

This is an excellent thing to be able to hear and utilize, when it’s called.
