Mississippi Blues Tim O’Brien Plays solo guitar am not sure why this is so much fun to play but it is!
Mississippi John Hurt was a finger pickin blues guitarist who was born around 1893 and died in Nov 1966. Hurt worked as a sharecropper in the early part of his life and played local dances and parties in the evening. He recorded for Okeh records in the early part of 1928 but these recording weren’t a commercial success so he drifted out of the recording scene, He was rediscovered in 1963 and started recording again 64. His recording and rediscovery help to further the interesting American Folk Music. In the later part of his life he played many concerts and recorded several albums for Vangaurd Records. Mississippi Blues I think is a great piece to play and a joy to listen to hope you enjoy it . Please feel free to leave a comment Cheers enjoy
