This lesson focuses on getting a Delta Blues or Son House feel in Open D Tuning. Child Home did play in Open D along with Open G and Requirement Tuning. So did Charlie Patton. There are a lot of Delta Blues tunes in Requirement Tuning along with Open Tunings.
I simply use a consistent bass and some licks and chords in Open D for this guitar lesson. Simply go sluggish and get the feel. If you have any questions just put them here in the remarks.
